Our family-owned enterprise is one of the leading fruit wholesale companies in the Lower Elbe region. Since more than 80 years, we are serving wholesalers and food retailers. We can look back on many years of experience in the marketing of our products – also in the export to Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. In order to be able to deliver high-quality, fresh fruit timely and reliably, we have invested in state-ofthe-art storage, sorting and packing facilities. Of utmost importance for the success of our company are the social working atmosphere and our experienced and dedicated employees who take care that our customers’ demands are fulfilled at the best. Pickenpack is expanding its marketing with a booth at the Wholesale Market Hamburg
1947
Due to family reasons, the company is relocated to Apensen, Lower Saxony

The son, Reinhard Pickenpack, enters the company as an associate

Construction of storage and loading halls

Richard Pickenpack passes away. His son Reinhard takes over the management together with his wife Beke

The daughter Ulrike Pickenpack supports her father at first as a limited partner and later in the management as well

New construction of a modern, over 7,000 m² large loading and packing hall and new office rooms
2010
Ulrike Pickenpack and her husband Heiko are leading the family enterprise in the third generation. Reinhard and Beke Pickenpack are still supporting them with word and deed.
